WITS 101 Intro to Witsuwiten Lng Conversation I
3 Credits

This course is designed to provide the learner with the fundamental skills needed to build basic conversation. It will focus on Witsuwiten sounds, structure, vocabulary, grammar, phrases and sentences. The course will examine how the Witsuwiten language is connected to land, culture, and spirituality. Throughout the course, songs, stories, traditional activities and games will be incorporated. This course will focus on the ability to hear the language and the confidence to speak the language. The students will develop an understanding of the structure of the language as they practice everyday conversation.
