WALA 3230 Evaluation of Learning

In Evaluation of Learning, students examine the practices that support the assessment and evaluation of learning. Students will gain the knowledge and skills to design and implement a comprehensive strategy that guides the progression of learning. This includes understanding summative and formative assessment. Participants will plan, construct, and utilize ethical assessment strategies and instruments appropriate to their context of their teaching. Capacity will be developed to examine the cultures and demonstration of learning with students, including First Nations, Metis and Inuit students, to support authentic assessment of the learning outcomes.
