SSW 295 Introduction to Social Work
3 Credits
This course introduces the student to the general practice of social work. Students will learn about personal troubles faced by individuals and families as well as broader community and societal problems that affect people's well being. Knowledge, values and skills are introduced that provide a basis for generalist social work practice.
Prerequisites
ENGL 101 or ENGL 151, and PSYC 101, PSYC 102, SOCI 101, SOCI 102
