SSW 191 Introduction to Social Service Agencies
3 Credits
This course introduces the student to the variety of social services provided by agencies in the Terrace area. Students will have the opportunity of communicating with representatives from social service agencies and to develop their awareness of themselves as social service worker students.
Prerequisites
English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12 or equivalent 45 hours of work/volunteer experience in a human service agency withing the last 3 years; and 2 satisfactory references; and criminal record check
