SEA 112 Interpersonal Communication
3 Credits

This course introduces the student to the basic processes and content of effective interpersonal communication. Effective communication is the foundation of success in working with others. Various concepts will be learned such as self-concept, perception, emotions, language, non-verbal communication, listening, communication climate, cross- cultural communication, team collaboration and managing interpersonal conflict. Students will examine their interpersonal communication knowledge and skills with respect to working with people.

English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12 or equivalent
