PHIL 206 Philosophy of Science
3 Credits
This course covers the history of the debate of ideas within science, from the pre-Socratic atomists and the dominance of Aristotle to the scientific revolution of the 17th century and its creation of science into the 21st century. Major issues of epistemology and ethics frame the study, as well as representative sidelights to personalize the development of our empirical and experimental relationship with the world.
