MATH 091 Cook Training Math
The goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of arithmetic operations to acquire knowledge, skills and strategies needed to enter cook training. As the food service industry is becoming more complex, competitive and fast-paced with rising food and labour costs, the understanding of basic mathematical concepts has become necessary to be cost conscience. Thus the problem-solving and practical applications of learned skills in the context of the food service industry are particularly stressed in this course.
