HCAS 1081 Practice in Multi-Level/Complex Care
5 Credits

This supervised practice experience provides learners with an opportunity to apply knowledge and skills from all other courses in the program with individuals in a multi-level or complex care setting. A portion of this clinical experience will be devoted to working with individuals with dementia. Opportunity will be provided for learners to gain expertise and confidence with the role of the HCA within a complex care facility.

Prerequisites
Minimum grade B- in HCAS 1011, HCAS 1021, HCAS 1031, HCAS 1041, HCAS 1051, HCAS 1061 and Credit received for HCAS 1071. Step 2 documentation as listed in the admissions requirements for the program.
