GEOG 150 Physical Geog: Weather and Climate Meteorology and Climatology

An introduction to principles of physical geography, Earth's atmosphere, weather and climate. Topics covered include an introduction to maps, Sun-Earth interactions, energy balance, the global climate system, meteorology and the distribution of Earth's terrestrial biomes. Labs focus on developing learners' map skills, meteorological observations and analysis of climatic data. Applied learning focuses on the regional weather and climate of northwest BC.
